Spacious open-plan transformation with oak finishes and a stunning roof lantern

Our clients wanted to transform their old utility space and toilet into a spacious open-plan living and dining area, complete with a stylish new downstairs loo.
To bring their vision to life, we reworked the drainage to suit the new layout and carried out a major structural alteration, installing a reinforced steel joist (RSJ) to support the removal of a load-bearing wall. The space was then enhanced with stunning oak herringbone flooring throughout, and elegant oak doors fitted to black industrial-style runners for a sleek, contemporary feel.
A brand-new roof lantern was installed to flood the dining area with natural light, creating a bright and inviting space. The new layout has completely transformed the flow of the downstairs, and we love how our clients have put their own stamp on the design to complete the look.
